Bosch
Error codes can vary slightly by model year. What's below is what a code most commonly means on Bosch appliances — if your display shows something different, text us a photo and we'll tell you straight.
E24 — Dishwashers
Drain problem — water isn't draining properly.
Common causes
- The drain hose is kinked or clogged
- The filter at the bottom of the tub is clogged with food debris
- A knockout plug in the sink drain connection wasn't removed after recent under-sink plumbing work
What you can check
Clean the filter at the bottom of the tub and check the drain hose for kinks. If the plumbing under the sink was recently changed, check that the drain-line knockout plug was removed.

Leak (Aquastop) sensor triggered — the base of the machine has detected water where it shouldn't be.
Common causes
- An active leak from a hose connection
- Residual water from a prior leak or spill still sitting in the base pan
This one's a call
This one usually needs a technician rather than a reset — running it again risks water damage. Turn off the water supply to the dishwasher and call.
